The main objective of a mission trip is to serve and help those in need, as well as share the message of the Gospel. During the missionary trip to Brazil, you may participate in various activities such as:
Serving the local church: you can help the local church in its regular activities, such as worship services and programs for children, youth, and adults.
Serving in a recovery house: you can help care for people who are recovering from addictions and chemical dependencies.
Serving homeless people: you can help provide food, clothing, and other supplies for people living on the streets.
Working with children: you can help teach and play with children in daycare centers, schools, and recreational programs.
Working with women at risk: you can help provide emotional and practical support for women who have been victims of abuse, human trafficking, or other forms of violence.
Doing street evangelism: you can share the message of the gospel with people you meet on the streets, distribute Christian literature, and pray for people.
Working in impoverished neighborhoods: you can help provide health, education, and other basic needs services in impoverished neighborhoods.
We will also have time to get to know the city, go to an amazing theme park and to the beach.
We will travel to the city of Itajaí, Santa Catarina state, where we will be staying. We will also go to the city of Camboriu and Florianopolis.
VISA: The Brazilian government is changing the laws and probably Americans will have to get a visa to enter Brazil very soon.
